What is Pupil Premium?
An allocation of money for every pupil who is:
- Entitled to Free School Meals
- Looked After
- From a Services Family
What is Sports Premium?
Schools receive funding to make additional and sustainable improvements to the quality of PE and sport they offer.
This means that schools should use the premium to:
- develop or add to the PE and sport activities that the school already offers
- make improvements now that will benefit pupils joining the school in future years
How much do we receive into our school budget?
In the financial year 2014 - 2015 our Pupil Premium was £33,800 (per pupil formula plus Ever 6 formula) and our Sports Premium was £8,250.
In the financial year 2015 - 2016 our Pupil Premium allocation was £29,000 and our Sports Premium was £8,250.
In the financial year 2016 - 2017 our Pupil Premium allocation was £31,500 and our Sports Premium is £8,250.
In the financial year 2017-18 our Pupil Premium allocation was £36,000 and our Sports Premium is £17.500.
In the financial year 2018-19 our Pupil Premium allocation is £36,000 and our Sports Premium is £17.500.

Percentage of children in Year 6 who swim competently, confidently and proficiently over a distance of 25m
Percentage of children in Year 6 who can use a range of strokes effectively
10m on front and back stroke = 91%
25m front and back stroke = 70%
25m front, back and breast stroke = 24%
