All parents, guardians and carers of children who attend Hudson automatically become members of the PTFA (Parents, Teachers and Friends Association) when their child joins our school.

The aim of the PTFA is to advance and enhance the education of our children and to do this by raising additional money for the school, to purchase items and provide experiences that the children might otherwise not have. Not all of our events are fundraising events, but are put on with the intention that the children can enjoy themselves and make memories with their friends.

We have a small committee of parents who attend regular meetings, which includes a Chair, Secretary and Treasurer, but anyone is welcome to come along.

We are now a registered charity number:1156873.

Meetings are generally held after school, or of an evening and tend to last no more than an hour (unless we are planning a big event such as the Summer or Christmas fair).

During these meetings we discuss events, new ideas and how we can spend the money we have raised. We are always open to parents views, and welcome them.

We, as a committee, believe that the PTFA is an integral part of our Hudson family, and are always pleased when people come along and help us. Any support is welcome, and we understand that everyone leads busy lives, but we just try to do what we can, when we can. After all, everything we do is for our children.
